Hampton Inn Chicago-Gurnee

I like the hotel was close to Gurnee mills mall

The bed was not comfortable and room is small. Also did not like the breakfast it could be better for a 3 star hotel

Location: the hotel was close to Milwaukee and chicago as well as the mall and many restaurants. I had coffee at Baskin-Robbins, located within 10 minutes walk. I was offered a room with great views of the Six Flags park.

Close to restaurants, shopping. It is a very quiet and clean hotel, free breakfast.

It's perfect for anyone who loves leisurely strolls in the park or thrilling day trips to an amusement park.

Other than being close to things, nothing.

Hotel overcharged me. Was told manager would call me and never did. Breakfast was not really available since we could not get through the crowd after three attempts. There was not room in our king room that states it fits 4 people, we had to move furniture.

I was told the pool was heated and it wasn't even that chilly outside but the pool was ice cold it made it unbearable to swim in.

The staff was very accommodating, they were all friendly. Breakfast food was great.

Drunken argument next door or directly below lasted until early morning. I do not know if hotel has a policy of separating occupied rooms as much as possible. The bed was lumpy, to add to the difficulty with getting sleep.

Couple stay with lots of perks

We checked in around 8am and that set the tone right away. The staff was not just friendly. The whole place was clean, the air conditioning worked like a charm and I gotta say the heated pool was a nice surprise, even if it could have been a tad warmer. And after a long day, those warm cookies in the lobby at 8pm? Just what we needed.

It wasn't exactly cheap but it was worth it.

Location was good, overall cleanliness pretty good with one exception, breakfast was pretty good for a hotel breakfast

Not enough parking on Saturday night, all of the surrounding businesses have stearn signs you will be towed. We went inside and asked what we should do and were told to park in a handicapped space which made us nervous. Nothing happened, but still... Bed was not the most comfortable but I have slept on worse. Bag that contained our hair dryer was gross, covered in toothpaste and sticky.

Proximity to Six Flags allows for easy access, particularly for summer visits. The outdoor pool offers a refreshing break during warmer months, and the complimentary breakfast avoids the typical pitfalls found in many budget hotels.

The 'pull out sofa' in the Executive King Room felt outdated, reminiscent of the early 70s. Pillow selection lacked variety, leaving much to be desired.

I had breakfast in the lounge area, it was good hot and exceptional. That hotel was in a marvellous location, to food restaurants.
